Im really looking froward to becoming a teacher because I am just excited to experience that stage in my life. I am surrounded by educators when I am home and I adore their life style and what they get to do day-to-day. I’m excited to connect with a different level of peer via my students and I really hope to be able to make valuable connections. The only “main” concern I have with going into teaching would be just struggling to make that kind of vibe or connection that I see when I am home. My mom works in my elementary school, and all her friends are teachers. They all hangout outside of school like coming to my cabin up north and going out to get drinks on the weekend- and I am just really hoping that I find a team or staff that I am able to have that kind of relationship with. But I know that is not something I should expect right away or for it to come naturally- just like starting school here. It takes effort and time to find your people.
